0 17

When your site is new or if you want to promote new posts or products, you would try to purchase traffic from Internet, service like fiverr, freelancer offer gigs where advertiser promise you to bring traffic to website, are those traffic worth ? No i have tried to purchase traffic on several places but they are not worth even doesn’t worth a penny most of the traffics are created by Bots (Softwares that fakes like a visitor visiting your sites)

Now bots are capable of executing javascripts so you will get statics in Google analytics too, bots use VPNS and Proxy so every IPs are unique and you’ll see several new sessions in analytics but they are not valid, you’re just losing money

How to identify / spot fake website traffic / fake organic traffic

Most sellers provides a URL (from goo.gl/bit.ly) to track how many pageviews are generated, first you can’t track actual pageviews by using a short link, they are just counting how many redirects a link is generating, you must check Pageviews with Google analytics

If your seller promise organic traffic and provides you a tracking url then its fake. quite simple isn’t it? because when you search for a keyword on Google, example “Guest Post”, Google shows page results, if you tried to copy the link of www.guest.blog domain it would look something similar to (https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwj2uNTylKTOAhUEO48KHT89CCgQFggnMAI&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.guest.blog%2F&usg=AFQjCNFLEkJqNG4d-RH-2dt7Gc2Fa7vixg&sig2=VVddeqVLkBDMzRsG0fUXyQ) an ugly url, with some unknown encrypted queries, those queries change by time, if a seller promise you Google Organic traffic technically he can’t provide a tracking url, because every keywords will alter Google search url to your site and those queries will change by time.
When a user searches for a keyword and clicks a pageresults and visit your domain then you can track it with Google webmaster tools, Google webmaster tools shows every single organic traffic generated by Google to your website, but it will take 3 or 4 days to show statistics of current date in webmaster tools
